You're probably doing Teaching as Inquiry (or Spirals of Inquiry) wrong if:
- you get to choose your focus area before you start the inquiry
- you're being told by someone else what your inquiry is about
- you don't involve learners and their whānau in your inquiry
- you're more focused on learners changing than on your own practice changing
- you're filling out a template that has little meaning or purpose for you
- it doesn't feel messy
- it feels like an add-on or another thing you have to do
